Prior to working out, you absolutely MUST warm the body up! It is imperative to have a good sweat going before approaching any workout so you know your muscles and blood flow is ready for rigorous work. There are countless times where athletes are injured due to warm-up complications. If well trained athletes can be taken out of commission due to these issues, the average person is highly susceptible to injury.
